| So it looks like xanga is officially dead. I only get updates from the same 2 people now. So I don't even know if anybody will read this, but it's worth a shot. I still have to post a huge update on my life since it's been almost a year since I posted. I was supposed to put up wedding pictures a year ago..hahah. As soon as I find some time, I'll put up a massive update as my farewell to xanga....and then move on to facebook.
Anyway, the topic of this entry is the latest project I've been working on. My last project was a miserable failure. Even my efforts to bribe my friends with a free ipod did not work. I did learn a lot from that experience though. I read somewhere that 9 out of 10 businesses fail. So I figure, if I try 9 more times, one of them is bound to succeed..hahah.
So here is project #2. Project #3 is almost finished and will be launched in a few months. Project #4 is just a concept in my head right now, but I'm hoping to launch it by the spring of 2010.
Click on the logo to go directly to the website. I started this project on August 6, 2008, and after hundreds of hours of work and numerous all-nighters, I'm finally ready to release a beta version. This is a website that lets UCI students print coupons to stores/shops from around their campus (I'm hoping to open it up to other schools soon). Some features include: saving and managing coupons, rating coupons, and printing coupon sheets. It's currently considered a beta version because it's only being revealed to friends and family. However, the site is fully functional and all the coupons on the site are real and can be used at any time. Starting March 30 (hopefully), it will be fully live and advertised to UCI students.
I would appreciate any help I can get. If you're interested, here are some ways you can help. 1) This won't go public unti March 30, but it would be very helpful if you can start spreading the word now. You can post it on your blogs or facebook. Or just tell your friends about it. See the html code below to add a "button" to your blog or facebook page. 2) Use the coupons. Each coupon has my logo on it, so the retailers know that it came from my website. You don't have to be a student, but all the coupons are for Irvine stores and restaurants. 3) Please give me feedback. If you notice any bugs or issues, please let me know (and tell me which browser you're using). Tell me what you like/dislike. I can take constructive criticism, but please don't just tell me how much the website sucks. It's ok to hear that your baby is not a genius, but nobody wants to hear that your baby is ugly...hahah.
Anyway, thanks for reading this entry (all two of you...Mike and John Tang).

I wrote my last entry on the morning of my wedding. A lot has happened since then and I was planning on writing a huge update on what's been going on in my life. I promised John Tang that I would write an entry about 7 weeks ago, but I haven't done it cause 1) As the weeks go by, there's more stuff to update, and I'm dreading spending 10 hours writing an entry. 2) I don't even know if anybody reads xangas anymore. So I just decided to write a quick entry and then I'll update everybody when I get a chance...and by everybody, I mean the Tang bros...since they're the only ones left that will still read my xanga...hahaha.
Sorry Angel fans, but I gotta do this...18 straight shutout innings and 24 strikeouts!!!
Chan Ho Park was utterly dominante in this game.

You can call this a whack win, but it takes a great pitching performance from Chad Billingsley to get a win without the benefit of a hit. Plus, as a side note, the game was not officially a no-hitter cause the Dodgers did not bat in the ninth.

And tomorrow....shall we make it 27 straight shutout innings?

| 10 more hours until the start of my wedding!! It's 5am right now and I haven't slept yet. I was up all night working on the wedding video...talk about procrastination..hahah. But between all the things we had to do the last month, I literally had no time to work on the video. Who would've thought that I would pull an all-nighter on the night before my wedding. I seriously can't believe I'm getting married in 10 hours. This is my last entry as a single man...crazy huh? | | |
| 2 more days!!!
OMG, I can't believe it. In about 54 hours, I will be a married man. Everything's been crazy up to this point. Sharon and I have been insanely busy. She's been stressing out a lot throughout the planning and a guy's first instinct is to come up with a solution. I've been told not to do that and rather just to let her stress...so as a joke, I've been saying....OMG...WE'RE NEVER GOING TO MAKE IT!!! AHHHH!!!! Lucky for me she never got mad, thought it was funny, and then just laughed off her stress...hahaha. Freaking dodged a bullet there.
If you're coming to the wedding..please please COME ON TIME. Everybody's been asking me what day and time the wedding is at. It almost makes me think that making invitations was a complete waste of money....ahaha. One of my friends even thought it was the week after. Just to clarify, it's this Saturday at 3pm...so
PLEASE COME ON TIME

| Does anybody have a steamer that Sharon can borrow for her wedding dress? Please comment on this entry if you have one we can borrow...thank you. | | |
